Sinus & ENT Care
|
We apply our expertise as otolaryngology specialists to medically or surgically treat patients with chronic inflammatory rhinosinusitis, better known simply as “sinus.” Symptoms for such patients may range from post-nasal drip to major obstructive nasal polyposis and loss of smell. In every case, we take a careful approach, preferring to reserve surgery as a last resort.
Often we elect to perform appropriate office-based procedures to improve a patient’s symptoms, including expert allergy referral. If it is determined that surgery may be necessary, we evaluate candidates by a host of criteria, including a mandatory CT scan. We then use state-of-the-art image-guided sinus surgical endoscopic techniques to alleviate problem obstructions. These minimally invasive procedures feature intraoperative surgical navigation.
Preoperative consultation and meticulous postoperative care is provided in our office setting. We also perform basic septoplasty and turbinate surgery, as well as surgical approaches for advanced sinus disease.
As professionals in ENT management, we routinely address a wide variety of conditions of the ears, nose and throat. These may be minor, such as wax buildup in the ears, nasal congestion and snoring, or hoarseness of the throat. Or they may be far more serious problems — issues that draw on our experience and expertise to provide appropriate counsel and action.
